( Jesus doesn't take over while you pray! )

(NEWSER) – Some might say a prayer in anticipation of a car crash. A Florida woman's prayer apparently caused one. The 28-year-old was driving in Mary Esther when she ran a stop sign, drove onto a yard, and crashed into a house, police tell the Northwest Florida Daily News. She then tried to back out but got stuck, according to police. The woman told Okaloosa County sheriff's deputies that she had closed her eyes in prayer while driving—which is considered more reasonable than texting while driving in the South, quips one Reddit user, per Complex. The woman was cited for reckless driving with property damage and taken to a hospital for an evaluation. No injuries were reported.
