Florida is jam full of old New York Jews....who brought their own lawn chairs to sit on the stoop and brag about their son the doctor. And how they went to Israel and planted a tree. Bot some bonds too but don't ask how much....not polite. It's warm and sunny and no income tax. Beats NYC if you ask me!

My lived in Tampa when I was in college the first time. Over summer and Christmas break, I used to work for Tampa Coca Cola. Some of the mechanics were Cuban. One of their favorite phrases was "cut off his head and make him a Mexican". Now these guys were not descended from Castillian Spanish with blonde hair and blue eyes. They were mostly Indian, looking more like Pedro who just waded across the Rio Grande looking for work. Still, they did a great job keeping trucks that were older than I was running. But there was no love lost between them and other Hispanics.
