sorry to be so long in reply - heat related issues in my life that
have been time consuming. tanks for sharing your life experiences.

never lived in CA but visited many times... so. cal is too populated for me.
love the geography and the climate and i can find areas of like mind easily.
i haven't been to oregon but my daughter has friends in portland and
she gives it a healthy thumbs up. seattle suits me too but not enough
vitamin D. i'm very happy with NM, being a lifetime native and fourth
generation of trading post operators on the navajo rez. in NM and the
four corners area - beautiful geography. my favorite of the tri cultures
of euro-whites, hispanics and native americans are the native americans...
humble and gentle people... ya'at eeh sikis (it is good my friend)...

i think i'd like the NYC area too for all its cultural diversity. i'm a
galactic citizen so i really like the multi-cultural aspect... but i love
living in the wide open spaces with sparse population.

your multi-cultural family life is a treasure and i'm so glad you realize
and embrace it.
