If all else fails….rig it.

That's what happens these days.

Yeah, and the ass clown Romney looked like he was going to win too if you looked at the polls.

That was never true except after the one debate where Obama fell so horribly flat. The Republicans were disbelieving of the polls and felt the need to "adjust" them. The reality was that Obama was ahead the entire time.

Today, FiveThirtyEight.com -- at worst, a very reliable aggregator of polling information -- is shaken. Their model a couple weeks ago had Trump with a 1 in 5 chance of winning, and today has him at 1 in 3. Still an underdog but one that has a lot to build on.

No one really knows what these conventions will do to the polls -- but you're going to have Bill Clinton and Barack Obama and Elizabeth Warren delivering first-rate speeches which will undoubtedly over-shadow Trump's persona. You're going to have millions in Democrat's big money against a campaign that is not wasting money.

If she doesn't come out of the next few weeks with a decent lead there is no reason to think she can win this election.

RMF,

I remember that.
You GOTTA have a ground game these days.
That I'll disagree with. Look at Bernie Sanders, who had the strongest "ground game" ever, yet he still lost to Hillary.

I have a friend who is still smarting over that even after volunteering many hours for Bernie's California campaign.
