Sounds interesting. Will think about it. I'm going to travel for a few days, probably not the right moment for such plays... but interesting. I think you're right about VIX being likely to at least bounce, very soon.

I gave this a try yesterday, 5.78% if called in eight days. 2.64% if not called, and repeatable. Flat so far. I traded the VIX some time back and didn't like it, but this idea seemd straight forward enough to try and learn something. Thanks for the idea, however it turns out. ARS
