Hi Jim! A couple of points I found interesting in the annual report. Two references to SBIR Phase III preproduction programs set up on a sole source non-competitive basis. I'm figuring the flywheel UPS. Send that Roland Tibbett's award winner on to further uses. Here are a few updated URL's to SatCon's 1997 SBIR Phase I selections: futron.com futron.com Maybe they'll snag us some more federal funds. "if the Beacon warrant is exercised in full upon the closing of an initial public offering of Beacon's Common Stock." Wonder what that MEANS?! I'd guess they're also going to use 3M's Fluorinert in the freon-free refrigerator compressor they're developing. Those MIT boys just love to think up cross applications for any new technology!
