Well it is a secular democracy, but no doubt that separation of religion and government is being stressed . Don't want to get in to it on this forum. Will certainly watch how this unfolds with interest. Cheers

Yup, but that is a problem with the Turkish constitution. The Military is supposed to keep the country secular and that means coup d'état


That at least is what was reported last night by the press.
