RE: VectorVest

From what I understand of VectorVest, it is a completely automated computerized analysis of companies. As such, it is only as valid as the data that is input, and the extent to which the company fits into the expected profiles. SyQuest has become quite a different animal over the last couple years, especially with the stock being diluted from 11 million shares to 152 million shares. Any analysis based on historical data (if it doesn't take these changes into consideration) is suspect.

VectorVest is probably best at recommending stable or cyclical companies. Highly speculative companies on the brink of bankrupcy and delisting don't fit their model very well.
