longnshort, You have good point there. I'm not a big fan of Unions after actually having been in one. My Wife is NOT in a union and she's somewhat terrified that she could be fired at any time. She's a teacher and it seems that she can only hold on to her job because her students do so WELL on standardized tests. She's been teaching so long that she makes one of the highest salaries and the only reason she can hold her job is that she's the premo teacher of the whole school. Parents send their kids to that school because she's there. She makes a LOT less than public school teachers... It's a weird deal and it drives me nuts some times...
