I am actually trying to refine my A/D signals into something that works better. Eyeballing the extreme days both ways, we reached a peak in extreme A/D days which is consistent with past peaks except for the last few the day I said to Sell. The next day, XBI went down 2-3%. I am looking at all my metrics and refining. The signal is still close to another Sell but has re-energized. My best guess is it may have a week or two to roll over. The main issue is that one of the biggest advances in my dataset occurred when it had rolled over going from a peak to a trough - it seems to indicate something I have pondered here in the past: less volatile, more consistent markets are better for longer term gains than are these massive upthrusts. In some ways, the cumulative tick data just hit records. The market has moved sideways to modestly higher.

I have one other set of indicators to help with the top and it probably issued one last week. I have not looked yet. It looks at gappy activity. We had 5 of 6 days with minor gaps but most reversed immediately so I need to think about best way to reflect this. Day 6 of 7 coming later today.
