Steve....Thanks for the1991 crash data.....I agree, from all I have read, 4th Q should be very good......Just read an article on Microsoft Investor, came out today. Said companies like CPQ will benefit from the Asian crisis - lower cost internal parts, higher margins......I also read IDC lowered their projections for computer growth in 1998 from 17% to 13 1/2%.......IF this is true how might that affect CPQ and their stock price?....Any thoughts?.............George

Stock moves up not because of the past earning , but future prospect !!!!!!
You saw stock moving down on good earning and up on bad past earning and good future prospect!!!!
