Don't distort what is being attempted here. If you want to buttonhole people on the corner about this issue, that is legal, despite what nonsense you spout. If you want to write letters to the editor, that is fine also. It isn't fraud if you are doing this on your own nickle. If you want to write articles for hire, or produce a video for hire, or a podcast for hire, that can be construed as fraud. That is what exposes you to prosecution, the fact that you are being paid to disseminate wrong information. That is the essence of fraud, the fact that you are benefiting economically from lying.
