Robert, I think I was more like 48% were sub 1000 (less monitor) in December. Dunno why the 4212 ES is only at CDW...or even if it is. If Compaq leaves out a Pentium 200MMX in their line up I'll be stunned. Mhz wise it doesn't fit well between the 220 MHz GXm ($799) and the 233 K6 ($1099). There is a big void there. All it would have going for it is the Intel name and maybe the FPU but the average consumer doesn't know much about FPUs. What do you suppose they will put in the $999 slot? Jim
