1997 YEAR END RESULTS Here are the final results for the first year of our portfolio Our objective was to beat the market averages by at least 50% ; well we came close. (using a fully margined portfolio) After a great run through Aug, we really fell off the cliff for the remainder of the year. It is rather easy, in hindsight, to see what happened, a lot of lessons for us in those mistakes. We should review our activity and see if we can keep from repeating the same mistakes in the coming year. Thanks to all for your great participation in this exercise.
