Nonsense. It is a fact. Virtually every one of those 14 characteristics of a fascist regime also describes the policies of the Republican party over the past few decades. As to theocracies, look no further than that paragon of conservative values, Ted Cruz. His father is a Dominionist and while Teddy hasn't announced that he is such, he tracks pretty close to his Dad. Given his Dad's announced belief that Ted is one of the Seven Kings who will lead us to a theocracy in the US, well...
