There's two cases against Trump now related to Trump University. One for fraud (Cohen v. Trump). One for racketeering (Low v. Trump). The racketeering case also brings charges of elder abuse.

Trump owned 95% of the stock in Trump U.

The judge in the case was born in Indiana. Oddly, this seemed worth mentioning.

Same answer. It is a lawsuit. It is totally ethical and appropriate for a businessman to fight a lawsuit.

I've seen fine surgeons smeared with lawsuits; I've also seen them instigate lawsuits against others who didn't perform as expected.

That in and of itself means nothing.
