Not that I disagree with his assessment of Trump, but Hayward and the Weekly Standard have had their own bouts of insanity in the past. They were the great cheerleaders and to some extent even part architects of Dubya's invasion of Iraq and pretty much everything that followed. They were also among the great cheerleaders of the impeachment of Clinton and the attempt to remove him from office. And of course nothing that Obama has ever done has been right.

With Trump the Republicans are finally taking the sheets off and demonstrating that they are even more morally bankrupt than most of us thought. Trump is a psychopath and we should all do our best to crush him in this election.

After reading this Hayes piece and just watching Hillary and Tim Kaine in Miami, the fears that many Republicans have of a Democratic blowout are definitely for real. Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine together are fantastic. WOW
