I can't be more specific. But if that were the case it means that the other more profitable market segments between the sub $1K and the PII 300MHz server are flat.

I think Intel's price reduction says a great deal. Its also pretty obvious to me that anyone buying a Pentium 233MMX for $1500 got really burned. So I would think the MMX and PII Slot One low end sales were not great.

We will all know on Jan. 13th. The market seems to have already reached a conclusion. INTC is stuck in low gear.

Even I was hoping for a year end rally.
