Trying to undercut Sanders (who I'd undercut myself) is not the same as disenfranchising voters and taking away their constitutional rights. I don't believe democrats are talking about signalling out a minority by making them wear some special kind of clothing, or kicking them all out of the country. Sanders was not a good choice- which is why young people liked him. His impracticality appealed to them- but he would have been horrible. People who can't work with others (and it's quite clear from his record that he can't) should not be president (that's Trump's problem, too, among others- like being batshit crazy.)
