But the facts proved to be different. telegraph.co.uk Now I suppose that if you wanted to hear something in particular, and didn't understand German, you might have heard something that sounded a little like 'akbar'. A little. But there was nothing like 'allah'. Edit: the German word for foreigner is 'Auslanger". Which might be confused by someone who isn't all that great in German with "akbar".
