Blogger Jeff Dunetz posted this video last year: Here are her comments criticizing Romney for identifying the Russians as a threat: Well, without getting into the political campaign because that’s for others to comment on, I think if you take a look at the world today we have a lot of problems that are not leftovers from the past but are of the moment. Now the Republicans are pro-Putin and Newt Gingrich even said publicly we wouldn't defend Estonia (a NATO country that DOES fulfill its NATO defense obligations). Talk about flexible! Hey, Vlad, you can have Estonia, in exchange for nothing. What a deal! And yes, Republicans ARE pro-Putin now - the proof is the 'no arms for Ukraine' plank that the Trumpers put into the Republican platform. All this stuff, scrapping NATO, offering up Estonia and Ukraine, isn't being done as part of a deal ... it's a freeby offered up to Putin. But the Trump family will likely get a Trump Tower in Moscow as a reward. Trump can't borrow from American lenders after four banktuptcies. He can only raise capital from Deutschbank and Russian oligarchs. So when the oligarchs he talks to (all pals of Putin) badmouth NATO, he listens. That's what Trump's NATO trash talk is all about.
