The heatwave most affected the area from Pennsylvania up to Maine, with a top temperature of 106F recorded at Nashua, NH. We hit 106F right here at my house around August of 1994.....it set an all time record around here....and you know where I live. I remember it very well, I was having new siding put on my house and the contractors were dying...... They quit early........ I was hosing down some plants and a squirrel litterally came down from a tree and allowed me to spray him....
