Barney Fwank and that maggot in the White House, along with three others, caused the banking crisis by forcing banks to grant home loans to those who couldn't afford them under the threat of otherwise yanking their banking Charter... it was all a scam in the first place created by idiot politicians, and then the same phony politicians came to the rescue??? Sorry, I just don't but it... it was a preventable man made crisis perpetrated by idiots who had no clue how to run a business...

Did the fed save us or was it a simple adjustment to the marked to market rules set forth by FASB? Is it a coincidence that FASB changed the rules in late 2007 just around the time when markets peaked? Is it coincidence that the markets bottomed in March 2009 just before FASB adjusted the rules and this info was leaked?
