Mr. Winfield, you quoted me out of context (see below).

I was clearly referring to the EZ135 and SQ3270 products. Do you really believe that these drives and the corresponding media will be available in a year or two? I believe that Zip drives and disks will be.

A lose-lose situation

Talk about a lose-lose situation; Syquest lost money selling these
drives, and the customer loses because she/he bought a drive that
is sure to disappear from the market in no time.
