Yes, and that may have played a big role in their demise .... but as one can see in their Income Statement, if nowhere else, their financial problems were very evident from 2013, and probably from before.

As you, yourself, brought to his attention, back in November 2011, ... "Their depletion expenses (~4$/mcfe) went through the roof and their G&A expenses (while down % wise) are way too high still. Last not least they are still racking up losses"
There are other companies, such as ECA, that you mentioned, which have also been hit by that slump, but they are still in operation.

So why keep promoting the stock, right up until the 11th hour ?
