Furthermore the 33,000 "all private" emails have all been erased and thus no longer can be hacked. Thus asking anybody "trying to find" those missing emails, by all logic would have to look elsewhere but hacking around in the USA.

He explained that the Clinton campaign statement said it would be a "national security issue," which contradicts Clinton's repeated asserted that the missing 33,000 emails were all of a personal nature, not work-related.

Krauthammer has it wrong. Per usual. Having a foreign power break into a domestic server in the US for whatever reason is a national security issue. Having them break into a post office and rifle through the mail would also be a national security issue.

The issues don't change just because you have a political interest.
