Happy New Year, Josef. You'll be missed by all trash-talking, freedom-loving, duplicity-exposing, bubble-bursting, DD-doing, diggers for truth, justice and the American Way.

Svejk: *** Off topic ***

Hey !!!! I don't remember authorizing any time off for you.

Particularly at the beginning of the New Year, when all those Y2K disasters start disastering. FBN will have so much mail that it will be a major effort to find time for napping.

Well, heck, since it sounds like you've already made plans, go ahead and leave us to fend for ourselves.

Come back refreshed and ready to continue your non-productive tasks.

Off Topic -- Svejk, Happy New Year...

I hope you have a great time doing whatever it is you are doing this holiday season and beyond. Just don't let me catch you on the Stare Mesto side of the bridge with those rude American tourists (gg).

I'm sure Kevin Watson will do just fine as your temporary replacement in the mail room as his JCL experience should come in handy in deciphering all those bar codes. I'll miss that sweet smell of rum from your nightly binges but Kevin assures me that Clamato juice has an equally unique scent. We'll see.

My best to the family...

- Jeff
