It is. It's also a bit sad. But on the other hand, art is all about pushing boundaries, empathy, and seeing beyond the world as it is today- even seeing with eyes that might be frightening to the average person, and so why would artists be republican? You'd have to be a pretty pathetic derivative artist to want to be a conformist and a conservative. Perhaps that works in country music- but I can't imagine it works for most other arts. hatchling.blogspot.nl
