I also thought his speech was as poorly written as it was delivered, although I did not watch all of it. He needs professional coaching. He's using his voice box so poorly he could even damage his vocal cords during the election run. Plus he's so chubby there's too much fat pressing on his diaphragm. Not good....I'll be watching just out of curiosity.

The speaker who continues to amaze me is Trump. I doubt that he's ever had the kind of extensive vocal training it would take to get his voice in the condition it's in so must assume it's a natural gift. He would fly into those hangers, having gone through the impact of subtle pressure changes on his vocal chords, then get off and deliver a campaign speech having to shout to overcome the poor acoustics, and his voice never changed. Nor would there be any signs of hoarseness the next day. Day after day of flying and speaking, sometimes several times a day.

In his nomination speech, he elevated his voice to a near shout for 70 minutes. The next morning he spoke to the press in the same strong clear voice, and he's not a young man. It's really remarkable.
