Hi Don and Happy New Year to you and all other followers of this great thread.

'IF' a buyout senario worked, there are many and varied ways to perform this event. Lawyers/Accountants etc. Need I say more?

I have heard there is at least 150 million + proven oz. of Ag. (Fairly reliable) We'll see???

I hear that the property is a dream, in that it gives up its AU & AG with little cost. What 1998 resource markets want to hear!

Let's hope the institutional market managers pick upon a good thing. They need a good recovery stock to enhance tarnished reputations. I see that John Kaiser (Bottom
Fishing Report) has prompted a BUY for PFG (see "In the News-StockWatch)

Best of Luck to all in 1998

I am not familiar with the mining aspect of the Au/Ag (especially the recovery costs). Bill should be able to give some data on this.

With regard to the buyout (?), if it happens, remember what is being bought is 30% of a Cayman Island company/asset. This was obviously done to avoid immediate taxation. A real good move for both PFG and ABX. There are so many ways this could fall out, it's impossible to speculate; but PFG will be a BIG winner, no matter what happens.
