Clearly, you haven't bothered to listen to Gowdy interrogation of Comey. Or perhaps it sailed right over your head.

I watched it live and "clearly" you don't, or chose not to understand how the law works...what Gowdy regurgitates in a series of answers provided under different environments and circumstances, to try to prove a lie by Clinton, makes for good theater for the useful idiots but don't prove an indictable offense. And 3 (c) markings, two of which staff errors, in a chain of emails among 30000 total emails don't prove a lie...it's entirely plausible for a busy secretary of state to have missed them, particularly when she herself asked the staff to sanitize two of the three...lastly, retroactively re-classified emails has been denounced by people other than interested parties as overreach (see Powell's comments on the matter).

The only political act here were Comey's harsh remarks, which I believe were said by him to give the appearance of impartiality and give republicans a bone. This was a whole bunch of nothing that republicans turned into a "scandal", just as they did Benghazi. They struggle to win at the ballot box so you cheat, distort, pass laws that disenfranchise opponents, gerrymander, and support aberrant candidates like Trump.
