Can I make this work with communicator, or via the unix box at my ISP?

I can explain how to get it to work on any Unix box, but you'd probably be better off looking at procmail and rolling your own. It's really quite easy. I've got the source (I think) for the one I use, and it suits my needs just fine. If you'd like, I'll email it to you.

With MS IE you can set criteria to kill messages under "Tools" and then "Inbox Assistant". Comunicator should have a similar feature.
