My wife's IRAs will likely have some duplication of holdings I already have -- maybe 1/3-ish... the rest will be much more conservative/defensive than mine -- we don't need the income from them yet, so capital preservation will be important, too, plus I figure an initial nominal yield around 3-3.5% will be plenty to generate the YOC we'll eventually want to see (around 6% YOC would be perfect, any more would be icing and we don't need to see it until RMDs kick in)... but I'll post what ends up in her two IRAs when we finish up.
