"I was viciously attacked by Mr. Khan at the Democratic Convention. Am I not allowed to respond? "

Yes, you are not allowed to respond. You're running for president of the US, not your third grade class. Don't let that stop you, tho. Attack away, little man, attack away.

Never punch down

Never punch down. Never be afraid to punch up.

Or we can state those affirmatively: Punch up. Reach down.

That covers about 94 percent of being a decent person. And if you get that right, the other 6 percent will probably take care of itself.

Here’s a bunch of other people saying the same thing.

Excellent points. Hillary attacked Patricia Smith, who was grieving over her son killed in Benghazi, and Hillary essentially called Ms. Smith a liar. Where is the outrage over that?

Mr. Khan must learn to cope with the fact that his fellow Muslims murdered his son, and stop projecting his rage toward Trump. If Khan feels so hated and persecuted in the United States, he should return to a Muslim country and live among his fellow Muslims, like Clock Boy. Of course, as everyone saw, Clock Boy ultimately came crying back to civilization when he realized how bad it was living among his own kind in Qatar.
