Paul, You are so witty. You aren't keeping up yourself. Look at the 27427 post. I concede that Compaq has finally agreed to use the K6 (because it allows them compete with Acer, DEC, IBM). But why do you think they haven't used the K6 prior to a week ago? Exactly. The Intel arrangement. Why else would they not use the K6 since April - 9 months. 9 months is a funny number. Sounds like something you would put down in a contract. Just long enough for Intel to maintain a mental edge of AMD in the minds of the consumer. That's the problem with the way Intel goes to market.
