"Negative Rates to Take Gold to Heights Never Before Seen in History of Mankind." Probably just sensationalist editorializing, but IF THIS IS TO BE THE CASE, it follows then that the breadth of change in the social, financial and military order of things will also rise to "heights never before seen in the history of mankind." It will mean most people in what are now the advanced economies will be reduced to poverty, and some few others will become extremely wealthy. It also means Orwell's "1984" vision of the word will have come into being, albeit a bit late. VP
