Paul,

Intel is down nearly $1 today. And AMD is up nearly $1 today. Who was that bozo the other day who posted:

Intel down, AMD down, Intel up, AMD down, etc...

This is the beginning. The Compaq announcement, K6-300, K6-3D, K6-3D+, Intel price cuts, etc....

Looks good to me. Short on Intel, Long on AMD!!

Paul,

Don't get me wrong. I'm pleased Intel is selling P55Cs for $50. Heck, when the PII with 512K hits $100, I may be tempted to build a system around it. Only if the AMD's 3D chips are much more expensive though.

<An Intel sub $700 PC will be coming to your neighborhood soon.>
You certainly mean the 166 discounted drop-outs, are you?

And better performing AMD-200MHz machines are moving to $1200 solid mid-range....

Do not lose your patience, Paul.
