I agree totally that "External" is here for quite a while. Standards are constantly changing and as much as Intel would like to control access to the "outside world" we are far from it as far as I can see IMHO. Eric, This is the entire point. One can easily change their 10 BaseT NIC to fast Ethernet or Gigabyte Ethernet but only if it is external. Also, the consumer likes to have a choice regarding the vendor of their NICS. Not sure why except name recognition??? Glenn
