We are invariably headed towards a civil war or secession . If Trump loses, HC will pack the SC and gut the Constitution / BoR.

Obama called Trump not fit for the office this am in front of the Singapore prez. The largest failure as a president labeling the opposing party's nominee a fool. If that doesn't focus Trump on his supporters and independents alike nothing will. Enough of the hit back mentality and zer0 in on the message.

Hi, Bill....It's been a long time and it's nice to see you're thriving.

I've been following EU and Brexit situation closely which has something to say to us in N. America.

Your man Donald has a winning hand if he plays it well. The table below is illuminating.

Neither column represents a desirable situation.

Reagan ran against the left hand column. Trump is running against the right hand one.

N.B.: the Brexit winners ran against the right hand column.

I got the table from a talk Mark Blyth gave to a German SPD sponsored conference late last year:
youtube.com

Blyth is very clear minded. It's worth spending the 20 minutes to watch. The center-left (which I say, he doesn't, here), includes the US Democratic establishment and also the centre-right, the US Republican establishment, "is toast." Both sides are toasted because for twenty years, at least, they've been kicking their natural supporters in the nuts. And they are not taking it anymore.

There is also a throw away line in the last 5 -6 minutes, ("page of A4 ....") which suggests Trump ought to talk to this guy before the debates. It also makes me think things could get really dirty.

This is entertaining. Blyth - who I don't think is a fan - on "Trumpism" (4 minutes):

youtube.com

So history is on Donald's side but...

Yeah, the debates. He's right to talk about China, Russia, NATO

AND THE OBAMA/CLINTON PUT which PO's him and everyone who has the least inkling of it and is not in denial: We bail out the banks in 2008, leave a gazillion dollars sloshing around the world, folk with assets make out like bandits through no real effort of their own, AND the other 60 - 70% of everybody who own few or no assets see their incomes falling, costs rising and tax bills to pay for the bank bailouts. For eight years the Obama/Clinton machine has done nothing about it and they won't do anything useful about it if they get another four.

Trump could double down on this message every week through the election and it would not go amiss.

I have to go. Sorry about the hit and run nature of this post.
