CJ, this is just another of your uninformed drive-by opinions. The book was criticized as well as embraced by academics. There have been volumes written on the subject.

But the correlations are what they are. Even far left extremists like Chomsky, AFAIK, didn't challenge the statistics.

There are no credible critiques of the statistical underpinnings. And in fact, the statistics hold up remarkably well today with essentially no material change in most of the statistics.

The point still holds today: the mean difference between blacks and white on various cognitive skills tests is 1sd. It isn't caused by the test but because of actual performance. We know that much. There are other statistics, like the break between black males and females and numerous other items. Asians have run off and the left the rest of us, statistically speaking, over the last 100 years. And it is all pretty much the same now.

If you want to argue about it you have to be more specific about your point. And you might want to read the f*cking book.
