Only totally science and technology ignorami would use NOAA and NASA based data sets for any thing.

This PDF analysis of many of the surface stations used to create then nonsense plots informs anyone of how bogus all the graphs created by NOAA and NASA are garbage.

Is is also true that from 1974 through the present that the rate of 99 code readings has gone from 14% to about 50%.
