Happy New Year to everybody on this board. Our board celebrates not only one but two of the powerful forces in our lives: sex and money. I sit here alone on New Years's Eve having made no plans for the night. I was sure due to my sage advice I'd receive an invitation to the CNBC New Year's Eve party; or maybe a request from Maria that I come over and discuss her future on the tube. Perhaps Jack Welch will drop by later. Do you guys have a favorite quip heard on CNBC this year? Mine comes from believe it or not Ron Insana, not known on the air at least as a quipster. A week or so ago on Squawk Box someone said Jim Rogers was stuck somewhere in the vicinity of the South Pole. Ron said he hoped Jim wasn't wearing a tuxedo for fear we'd never see him again.

hippy nude year.....ah,......errrrrr...happy new year, yeah thats it. getting up tomorrow to play our 15th annual new years day frisbee disc tourney, 8 inches of snow, temp in the single digits.......i hope the wind will be blowing around 8 knots 'cause thats the only way i have a chance to win. the market beat me up pretty good from oct 28 on, but it is an education and i hope the new year will be a healthy one to ya' j
