It could prevent the sort of machinations described in the suit from continuing, month after month, year after year, CNBC appearance after CNBC appearance. You yourself don't own any stock, whether you plan to be in it for the long haul or only until you have to raise some cash on short notice for tuition or the IRS, that you want some creep with an agenda going on CNBC (or anyplace else, for that matter) over and over again telling vicious, damaging lies about.
