Great idea, Larry. Welcome back, Zeev. I think also "no so fast"...we have a few things to continue to discuss on this topic, such as:

1) What in heck are the rules awwreddy - explicitly stated?
2) Why does Jill shoot first and then ask questions later -- does a complaint suffice as a warrant, summons, trial and sentencing just like that? Isn't there some sort of due process in the charter?
3) Will this sort of blurry/confused bouncing of members continue?
4) If he was bounced for soliciting on the thread, he clearly didn't do it. If he was bounced for soliciting people off the thread whom he "met" on the thread, is this not an infringement of his free speech and association (in private communication) and worse, prior restraint (if it's a rule)/ [Furry, are you listening?]...
5) Are folks beginning to think maybe having SI "clubhouses" are a better idea -- like maybe we could much better police our own by group consensus and perhaps dispense with this top-down capricious and ill-defined sanctioning? [Just asking].

btw - my favorite Zeev story as told by himself - [ZH - correct me if I stray too far into embellishmentville]...
it seems that many moons ago our hero was studying music and had a good source of scholarships, etc., but began to realize that he true love was really physics. Unfortunately, no scholarships available for Mr. H in physics...so, undaunted, he lived in a tiny little room in an old warehouse for most of the time he was in the University (in Tel Aviv?)...he was given free "digs" there in exchange for being around the place as sort of a watchman and turning off lights and so on....he scraped pennies together for meager meals, but emerged eventually victorious and PhD-educated in physics.....

And ... SI should tell us what's going on. This is really, really poor member relations. Hiding behind a terminal while you take secret actions is like countries that haul people into police stations and no one ever knows why or what happened -- just that you never see them again. Apparently none of us knows what happened or why -- just that someone disappeared and now there are rumors....

It reminds me of Nazi Germany. No trial, just taken out back and shot. Terms of Use, we don't need no rules.

Maybe we should start a thread for all our "disappeared" patrons from
the RMIL thread. Here's a guy I like to know what happened:

That Naysaying must of gotten him shot.

How did he make <font color=red> work?
