Steve, two questions...

In the thread I've seen reference to a "preference" attribute on an order. What does it mean, and how is it used?

Also, throughout the trading examples in the thread there is very little reference to the use of small fractions (i.e., below 1/16th) on non-superdot orders. It seems like when you place a limit order you could improve the best existing order prices by 1/64th and be first in line for fills. What am I missing?

I heard SKM is the stock being shorted more than any other
stock as of the end of 1997. I think it will be a big
gainer in 1998. What do the shorts know that I don't
know about this one?
