I sold my SLB calls today for a profit(for a change!).Wanted to wait till Friday but didn't like the look of those forming candles!

Steve, good going mi amigo! I too have been on the right side of the SPY fence, it's been a great month from the index trading perspective at least. I have not been reading the candlesticks other than glancing occasionally at the daily chart, hence my lack of posts here. I'm wondering how things are progressing with your intraday index candlesticks, especially the shorter durations. I am interested in daytrading SPY using the free margin that my always long or short SPY position affords. My paper daytrading to date has me searching for more promising techniques in this arena.
