So far, Trump's economic plan is the most impressive policy objective of the entire campaign.

Trump’s economic team is loaded with the same Tea Party cranks who destroyed Kansas’s economy

Since they are out of a job, a new gig is appreciated.

But it is important to also mention the other states which went down the Kansas path. Namely, Wisconsin, Louisiana and Oklahoma. There may be more, but those are the ones I know of. All have cut taxes, although not as radically as Kansas, and all are economic basket cases. Especially when compared to their neighbors who didn't cut taxes and in some cases actually raised them.

This is important because the apologists like i-node like to wave their hands and pretend that Kansas is some sort of special case. The fact of the matter is they are not. Everybody who has done like Kansas and slashed taxes with the promise that it will "be like a shot of adrenaline to the heart of their economy" have promptly suffered a cardiac arrest of varying severity. Not some. Not many. But all. All have resorted to balancing their budget on the backs of the poor and schoolchildren. Because they can, I suppose.
