Picking up trash along the highways and cleaning toilets is good for the 80 + year old grandmas who didn't get a raise in their Social Security benefits again this year. Congress stole the trust fund and SS is now the largest holder of our $19 trillion debt. Way ahead of China who makes everything for us....stuff we used to make right here in America.

Most SNAP recipients work already. A large percentage are Walmart and/or McDonald's employees. Nothing like tax payers subsidizing the stock buyback and management bonuses, is there?

What welfare checks are you talking about?
