Big news story out of NY tonight on "beefed up" airline security based on "profiles" and jazzy new bomb sniffing equipment. Gonna target suspicious types like those who buy tickets at the last minute... Way to go, guys! Don't want any red blooded American saving a few pennies, now do we? Anyway, if you fit the profile, you get extra scrutiny which in NY means even more than the usual hassle. Guess no one has thought of something like fingerprints for matching passports,tickets and luggage. Nah... too invasive. Frisking and strip searches are much more democratic.
