I know the feeling, but don't give up. A lot of this is going to happen when people get emotional and reduce their comments to venting instead of thinking and analyzing. But even if it takes time, usually the facts work themselves out and the truth starts to emerge. As the discussion format matures and everyone gets used to the internet forum, I'm sure that a certain amount of composure will start to replace the more excited conversation. Over time people tend to be seen for what they are.
